LOCAL AREA
Is there anywhere local to buy fresh produce?
Complimentary fresh eggs from our chickens will be provided on arrival. There is usually the option to purchase more eggs during your stay - providing the hens are laying well! We also leave a (glass) bottle of milk in the fridge - this is delivered on a Wednesday and a Saturday and we are always happy to add to our order if you would like some extra delivered during your stay. We are happy to recommend local farm shops for other fresh produce.
How close are you to the coast?
We are a 15-20 minute drive to the closest beach.
Can you arrange treatments during my stay?
We have contacts with several local beauty therapists and hairdressers and are happy to arrange treatments for you while you are staying - either in The Milkshed, or at a local salon. We advise giving plenty of notice for these services.
Is there a taxi service nearby?
There are several taxi services in Honiton. Early booking is essential - Uber has not yet reached our neck of the woods!
