It doesn't have to be Summer for the beach to be fabulous! A happy few hours spent at local beach, Branscombe. A walk and some pebble finding, followed by a lovely lunch at the Sea Shanty cafe on the beach. Blew the cobwebs away!
What a beautiful Milkshed and a perfect place to unwind and relax after a chaotic Christmas. We had a wonderful time and we were so glad to have been able to book our New Year break with you. Thank you and a very happy New Year to you all. December 2019/January 2020.
We decided to rebook for Christmas while we were here for our Summer holiday! We are so pleased we did! The Milkshed was the perfect setting for our family Christmas dinner, with family members joining us for the day who lived about 20 min drive. Colder than it was in July, The Milkshed was cosy and warm and peaceful. Such a lovely space. December 2019
What a lovely, beautiful, relaxing place to spend my 30th and our 4th wedding anniversary! Thank you for all the special treats, we have loved every minute and don't want to leave. We will be back with our little one to enjoy the surrounding countryside. Thank you! December 2019
Our lovely hot tub is perfect for relaxing in day and night - there are lovely views over surrounding countryside by day, and by night you can stargaze!
Many of the families who visit The Milkshed comment on how lovely it is to see their children enjoying the outdoors rather than being glued to a screen. We have several acres for them to run around in and plenty to explore! Our own children live onsite and love welcoming other children to their garden of fun - they share fun times and often guests with children return. It is lovely to see children growing up over the years - they are always drawn back to the outside space and the good old-fashioned fun that it brings. Long may it continue!
We are proud to be members of East Devon Excellence - a carefully selected group of award-winning venues, restaurants and leisure facilities to help you plan your break in East Devon.
Our story about leaving London for a life in the countryside was featured as part of a great article in the Sunday Telegraph this week!
